He will spend money on training routines to level himself up, making him more profitable in the long run (the profit per hour of a level 25 universe trader is probably 20 to 30 times more than a level 1 sector trader), but he'll never spend more money than he has earned you and the training sessions are always relatively inexpensive, a couple thousand here a couple thousand there.

You have to install it on the ship you want to be automated, not your personal ship, and then once you do you use the Start Sector Trader command and the ship flies to the designated sector and starts margin trading for you, buying from your bank account and passing the profits straight to you. That said, I think you would be quite happy with Trade Software MK3 because while it does not do what you're looking for it does something much more amazing - it allows you to turn a ship it's installed in into an almost totally autonomous trader. If I'm reading you right, you're trying to get a 'queue' of commands, right? Go here, buy this, go here, sell this, etc? You can approximate something like that on a fixed route with Commodity Logistics Software MK2 (from the Bonus Pack provided by Egosoft), but like I said it's a fixed route not something you adjust on the fly. I'm not certain what you're looking for exists.

When I upgrade to the MKIII trade software, will I have the ability to issue more than one automated trade command to my own ship? Is there a way that I can submit more than one manual trade command to my ship using the MKII software I have onboard now? And how will this trade software extend over to other ships that I buy? If I can only offer one trade command at a time, I would be forced to micro-manage the whole fleet? That's not a very exciting proposition. I soon realized that it was the MKIII upgrade that I needed. I was disappointed to find out that I could only issue one manual command at a time. I saved up and purchased the MKII upgrade. Well I just have a few questions about the MK Trade software. Well lets face it, when you start out with a 100 credits (Illegal Emigrant Campaign), that's a lot of e-cells and a lot of small boring runs. One of the first things I noticed was that there was a lot of automation options - which frankly was kind of exciting for me. I was a little hazy about the command software.
